Mail me at eviledick@digital-e.demon.co.uk Notes: In an attempt to give you an interactive, target rich level, I have produced a map where use of the environment is essential for a good frag count, drainpipes may be scaled, lights turned off for lurking, and 'use' activated doors to be booby trapped. It is quite possible for a HPB to win in this map, since speed and reactions will not be the deciding factor, your ability to trap, snipe, and ambush are paramount. Be very, very paranoid. All the major weapons are booby trapped or othewise difficult to get, while there is a plentiful supply of the lesser fire arms. The hive-hand (hornet gun) is not present. If you look horizontally along the gutter when you get to the top of a drainpipe, press forward, and you can traverse the gutter like lara croft, hang there by one hand and snipe. Filling chimneys with snarks is good There is one innovative part of this map, I have included a safe area (a church), where it is not possible to attack another player, this is to allow you to chat with other players without being 'cheap fragged' while you are typing. The church is best exited by the two teleports, on either side of the alter. The teleport points you are sent to are within 3-4 steps of the nearest weapon, the MP5. Any comments are useful, feedback is fuel. The story:- There isn't one, this is meant to be an urban combat training ground, there will be three versions of the map :- Night Ops (this one) High Noon Dusk and Dawn As you can see from playing the map, the light or lack of it maks a radical difference to the play stratagy. By providing three very different light models I hope to provide three different environments/stratagies/atmospheres in one map.
